A full refurbishment of the club's central bar, gaming room, sports bar and cafe, designed by Insite Architects around the landscape and native flora of the Wimmera and Grampians.
Stawell Harness Racing Club is the home of harness racing in the Wimmera and Grampians region. Insite Architects led the refurbishment of the club's central bar, gaming room, sports bar and cafe, with an interior that draws on the natural landscape and native flora of the region.
Working to Insite Architects' feature lighting schedule, Lucretia produced a 2100 millimetre ring chandelier for the lobby, a custom version of the Crimson Dew Brass Pendant Light, along with three bespoke branch pendants for the bar. Lucretia also supplied ten Galaxy Wall Lamps for the bathrooms.
Branches and jade glass over the bar
Over the bar, Insite Architects' schedule called for three feature pendants, 1800 millimetres long with a drop of up to 600 millimetres. Lucretia drew and produced them as a bespoke piece: a branching copper body in a brushed titanium gold finish, carrying shaped white jade glass shades of 100 and 80 millimetres, each lit by a G9 LED source at 3000K.
Each pendant hangs on 1.2 millimetre stainless steel wire rope from a 200 millimetre ceiling disc.
A 2.1 metre ring of brass and glass
For the lobby, the schedule specified a feature pendant 2100 millimetres in diameter. Lucretia produced it as a custom version of the Crimson Dew Brass Pendant Light, reworked into a ring of cast brass branches in a polished brass finish, hung with clear handmade glass drops and lit by G9 LED sources.
Each pendant features solid brass branches inspired by the organic beauty of natural trees, paired with hand-blown crystal-clear glass droplets that capture and refract light with exceptional brilliance.

The finished ring weighs about 50 kilograms and hangs on wires from a 190 millimetre cast brass canopy, with a clear power cable running down to the centre.
Galaxy Wall Lamps at the vanity
In the bathrooms, ten Galaxy Wall Lamps in clear glass on a gold base sit beside the mirrors above the marble vanities, in a 3000K warm white.
The Galaxy Wall Lamp features a sculptural, crater-textured glass design that diffuses a soft, atmospheric glow.
