The Silken Flow pendant was specified for the entrance foyer, where it needed to function as both the room's primary decorative statement and a fitting that set the tone for the centre from the first moment of arrival. The Silken Flow is a chandelier of flowing, draped acrylic elements arranged in a continuous wreath form, its soft curves giving it a quality that reads as almost organic rather than manufactured. Suspended above the marble entry table and reception desk against the warm timber slat columns and white ceiling plane of the foyer, it introduces movement and warmth into a space that could easily have felt formal.

Bespoke Feature Pendant Lights
Green Ridge Hunter Valley is a premium aged care residence in the Hunter Valley, a region defined by its landscape, its unhurried pace, and a culture of hospitality that runs deeper than most. The centre's interior reflects that character: warm timbers, natural stone, open sightlines, and communal spaces that feel genuinely inviting rather than merely functional.
Lucretia was commissioned to supply custom pendant lighting for two key communal spaces within the centre: the entrance foyer and the bar and café area. In each space, the designer arrived with a clear intent. Lucretia's role was to deliver the piece that matched it.
The foyer: a sculptural welcome
The piece was configured to the designer's specification, with the scale and proportions of the installation calibrated to the ceiling height and footprint of the foyer so that it holds its presence without overwhelming a space that needed to feel welcoming rather than dramatic.
The bar and cafe: an inviting atmosphere
The bar and café presented a different brief. Rather than a single statement piece, the designer wanted a considered composition of pendant elements above the marble bar counter that would provide both decorative presence and warm ambient light across the full length of the space. The solution was a multi-drop arrangement of Selene pendants in different forms, including oval, ball, and saucer variants, suspended at varying heights from two black linear track bars spanning the bar counter.
The Selene's optical-grade acrylic body refracts light from its built-in LEDs to produce a warm, halo-like glow, and the brushed gold collar on each element carries through the gold detailing visible in the bar's backlit stone panels and brass accents throughout the space. The composition was resolved to the designer's specification: the mix of forms, the arrangement within each cluster, and the suspension heights were all specified before fabrication, so that the installation arrived and read exactly as intended rather than being adjusted on site.
