Complete lighting delivery across a multi-unit residential development.

At this newly completed development in Vermont South, delivered by Quercus Building, every light in the home came through Lucretia: the bespoke decorative pieces, the architectural layer and the details in between, supplied as one coordinated package.

Silken above the kitchen island

The home's defining lighting moment is a custom Silken Chandelier, suspended above the stone island bench. Crafted from German-imported optical acrylic, each panel is heat-shaped into a flowing, fabric-like form, so the light appears to drift above the bench like sheets of silk caught mid-air. The material carries LED light through its body and releases it as a soft, glare-free glow, striking enough to anchor the open-plan kitchen, yet delicate enough not to compete with the veined stone and chevron oak below.

Silken is fully configurable in composition, drop and finish, and this installation was tailored to the proportions of the island and the ceiling height of the space, with its polished canopy detail left deliberately minimal.

A custom linear pendant for the dining space

Over the dining table, a custom linear pendant takes a warmer, more organic direction: a procession of textured illuminated rings, interlocked along the length of the table. Where Silken is ethereal, this piece is tactile and rhythmic, its woven-textured hoops casting a warm ring of light onto the timber below and playing against the black-framed glass cabinetry behind. The two custom pieces share a sightline through the open plan, and were selected together so each holds its own space without repeating the other.

Oracle in the bathrooms

In the bathrooms, paired Oracle Pendants flank the vanity mirrors. A raw crystal glass sphere sits atop a slim dark cylinder, throwing a warm pool of light across the limestone benchtop and lending the vanities a jewellery-like quality that recessed lighting alone can never achieve.

The supporting layer

Around these feature pieces sits the architectural lighting that carries the home day to day. Recessed LED step lights guide the timber staircase. Joinery and under-cabinet lighting brings the glass-doored cabinetry and kitchen work surfaces to life. Downlights and concealed details complete the plan, specified to a consistent colour temperature so the whole home reads as one considered scheme.

One package, delivered with the builder

Vermont South reflects a way of working we value: partnering directly with builders to deliver the complete lighting scope. One consolidated selection, deliveries sequenced to the construction programme, and technical support through to fit-off, so the finished homes carry the kind of lighting usually reserved for one-off custom builds.
